RuPay credit cards enable UPI payments

You can now use your RuPay credit card to pay at stores through popular UPI apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and BHIM.
This RBI-approved update makes it easier to shop without carrying cash or even your card—just link it to your favorite app and you're set.

Steps to link your credit card

Linking is simple: add your RuPay credit card in the UPI app, verify with an OTP, and set a PIN.
Supported by banks like HDFC and SBI Card, this feature is for merchant payments only (no sending money to friends).
Daily limits go up to ₹1 lakh, but first-timers might see a ₹5,000 cap for the first day.
Bonus: you still get your usual credit card rewards while paying through UPI.
