This was also the second successive 3-0 series victory for India over West Indies in T20Is. Indian captain Virat Kohli surpassed the 2,350-run mark in T20Is. He is the only batsman after Rohit Sharma (2,422) to do so.

Kohli (59) amassed his 21st career T20I fifty. He equalled Rohit for the most T20I fifty-plus scores (21). Rohit has 17 fifties and four centuries. Kohli and Pant (65*) added a century-plus stand for India for the third wicket (106 runs). This was the 19th overall 100-plus stand for India in T20Is. It was also the fourth third-wicket century-plus stand for India in T20Is.

Pant smashes 2nd career T20I fifty

Pant amassed his second T20I career fifty. He finally got back to form after scores of 3, 1, 0 and 4 in his last four T20Is. It was also his highest T20I score. This was also the highest score in T20Is by an Indian wicket-keeper.

Some interesting feats scripted by Indian bowlers

Deepak Chahar (3/4) registered his best career T20I figures for India. This was just his second T20I match. Navdeep Saini (2/34) finished the three-match series with a total of five wickets. Rahul Chahar (1/27) picked up a wicket on his debut for India.

How did the match pan out?

Windies were rocked early on after losing three wickets for just 14 runs on the board. Chahar was excellent upfront. Pollard and Nicholas Pooran added 66 runs for the fourth wicket. After Pollard got dismissed, Windies were in trouble, but Rovman Powell's brisk 32* got them past 140. In reply, Kohli and Pant's superb partnership saw India run home.
