What's the story

The latest TIME cover featuring USA President Donald Trump has got everyone talking, unsurprisingly. The striking cover has the POTUS struggling to catch a breath as his Oval House is drowning, with the words 'In Deep' written. A number of controversies (the biggest one being Michael Cohen pleading guilty) have made Trump's paradise turbulent. And now TIME cover has given more fodder to netizens.

How much worse can it get: TIME's cover wonders

Significance

On TIME covers, Oval Office first faced storm, then drowned

This one sort of completes the intermittent series of TIME covers. Within weeks of his presidency, a TIME cover having words 'Nothing To See Here' showed Trump sitting amid a storm in the Oval Office, and his hair being swept away. Next, TIME used the same image for another cover, but Trump's office was shown submerging in water with just one word: Stormy.

Artist's idea

What was the artist's idea behind this cover

The thought-provoking TIME covers are the work of Brooklyn based artist Tim O'Brien. In February 2017, when he designed the first cover, he assumed the chaos won't last long. But the never-ending headlines proved him wrong, and he felt storm metaphor was relevant. About the latest cover, he said, "To have him (Trump) at the top suggests he's still fighting despite the deepening issues."

Cohen & Trump

Context: Michael Cohen's admission of guilt increases Trump's problems

This another brave cover comes close to heels of Cohen's admission that he paid adult star Stormy Daniels money to remain quiet about an alleged affair with Trump. The President confessed the pay-off but denied claims that he used campaign money. A few days ago, Trump tweeted he wouldn't recommend the services of Michael Cohen to anyone looking for a good lawyer.

Reactions

It is Twitter which is highly amused by cover

Twitter users couldn't stop praising TIME's courage. One user @tammariablue tweeted: This cover is brilliant! Bravo @TIME. Best trilogy since the original Star Wars. Another @screamfan422 wrote: This is badass!! Another excellent cover @TIME! I'm ready for the one with Trump almost completely underwater with sharks chewing his legs & eels wrapped around his neck & a stingray ready to strike. I love nature.
