Tesla's sales plummet following robotaxi debacle
Tesla isn't having the best time lately. Their car deliveries dropped to 384,000 this quarter—down from 444,000 last year.
The rocky rollout of their robotaxi network (think near-misses and lots of human takeovers) hasn't helped, and some of Elon Musk's public comments have put off potential buyers, further denting Tesla's reputation.

BYD is catching up fast
Chinese EV giant BYD is catching up fast, making things even tougher for Tesla in the global market.
Analysts had already flagged slowing demand in Europe, and now Tesla's net income has plunged by 71%.
On top of that, there are fresh worries about possible subsidy cuts in the US.
All in all, it's a challenging road ahead as Tesla tries to get back on track.
