The son of film director Rajkumar Kohli and actress Nishi, Armaan Kohli is an actor in the Indian film industry. Armaan was born in March 1972. He has been staying in Mumbai since birth, and went to Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School in Chembur. He dropped out of school in class nine and appeared as a child artist in two films. Both the films, ‘Badle Ki Aag’ and ‘Raaj Tilak,’ were directed by his father. In 1992, he made his debut in the industry as a leading actor in the film ‘Virodhi.’ Dharmendra, Sunil Dutt and Anita Raj were his co-stars in this film. Armaan was also offered ‘Deewana,’ which he rejected. The film became a super hit. Later in the 1990s, his films started failing at the box office. ‘Dushman Zamana’ and ‘Anaam’ were among the many films that failed. Later, his father tried to revive his career with the 1997 release ‘Qahar,’ which again turned to be a failure. After five years, he returned to the industry with a different name, Munish Kohli. He was last seen in ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ in 2015.
