Netflix India unveiled its ambitious content slate for 2025 at the 'Next on Netflix' event in Mumbai on Monday night. The announcement was made at a star-studded event at JW Marriott, Juhu, which was attended by several A-list stars including R Madhavan, Rajkummar Rao, Siddharth, Sanya Malhotra, Venkatesh Daggubati, and Saif Ali Khan, among others. Among nonscripted shows and web series, the OTT giant also announced six big feature films.

Netflix India's 2025 film lineup is all things bling

The 2025 content slate features several high-profile films. These include Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins, a heist thriller that will mark the reunion of director Siddharth Anand and Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, this also stars Jaideep Ahlawat. Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan will make his acting debut in Nadaaniyan, opposite Khushi Kapoor. The Shauna Gautam directorial is a romance between "a South Delhi diva" and a "middle-class overachiever boy."

Rao will venture as a producer with 'Toaster'

Rao and wife Patralekhaa will venture into production with Toaster. It's a "quirky tale of murder and mayhem" that involves a toaster given as a wedding gift. It co-stars Malhotra and is directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh will star in a romantic drama Aap Jaisa Koi. Madhavan will also share the screen with Nayanthara and Siddharth in Test. Lastly, the slate includes the upcoming comedy, Dhoom Dhaam, featuring Yami Gautam Dhar and Pratik Gandhi.
