Microsoft issues patches after Jan 13 update broke Remote Desktop
Technology
Microsoft just released emergency patches to fix problems caused by its recent January 13 update.
While that update tackled over 110 security flaws, some pretty serious, it also accidentally broke Remote Desktop sign-ins and messed with how some systems shut down.
KB5077744 KB5077797 KB5077796 on Windows Update
If you're on Windows 11 (25H2 or 23H2), Windows 10 (22H2 ESU), you might've noticed these glitches, like failed logins or your device restarting instead of shutting down.
