As an addition to its A-series of smartphones, OPPO has launched its latest budget-friendly model, the A54 in India. It carries a starting price-tag of Rs. 13,490. As for the key highlights, the handset comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD screen, a triple rear camera setup, a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery with fast-charging support. Design and display

The smartphone boasts of an HD+ display

The OPPO A54 features a punch-hole cut-out with a prominent bottom bezel, an IPX4-rated waterproof body, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it packs a triple camera module. The handset bears a 6.51-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. It is offered in Starry Blue, Crystal Black, and Moonlight Gold color options.


It sports a 16MP selfie camera

The OPPO A54 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) main sensor, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) bokeh (depth) camera. For selfies and video calling, it has a 16MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper.


The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery

The OPPO A54 draws power from a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it runs on Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2 and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. In terms of connectivity, it offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.


OPPO A54: Pricing and availability

The A54 costs Rs. 13,490 for the 4GB/64GB model, the 4GB/128GB variant costs Rs. 14,490, and the 6GB/128GB unit is priced at Rs. 15,990. It will go on sale tomorrow at 12 pm via Flipkart. HDFC Bank card users can avail of Rs. 1,000 discount.
