Popular actor Shefali Jariwala, who became a household name after her performance in the song Kaanta Laga, has passed away at 42 in Mumbai. Though initial reports said she died due to a cardiac arrest, her family and the Mumbai Police have not revealed the cause of death yet. Now, a close friend of the actor has shared some details about her health before her sudden demise.

'She was doing okay...'
Speaking to the paparazzi, Jariwala's close friend Ankur said that the actor was doing well. "She was doing okay, well. Unka events chalta rehta hai, out of India and International," Zoom quoted him as saying. When questioned about her epilepsy, he said there were no issues with her health. "Kal fit ekdum poore building mai ghoom rahethe (she was walking around the whole building). Kal raat ko ye sab hua (all this happened last night)."

Police have recorded multiple statements
Ankur further revealed that the police have recorded statements from everyone who was present in the building, including the security guard and the maid. "Police ne sabka statement liya, jo building mai available the even maid and security (The police took statements from everyone available in the building, including the maid and security)," he said. He added that forensic teams didn't take anything from Jariwala's home.
