Ratan Naval Tata is an Indian businessman and a former chairman of Tata Group. He was born on December 28, 1937, in Bombay (Mumbai). He is the son of Naval Tata. In 1991, he became the chairman of Tata group. He retired as chairman of the Tata Group in December 2012 and then again served as chairman for an interim term.
