Jon Favreau is an American director, actor, producer, and screenwriter who was born on October 19, 1966, in New York City. As an actor, he is widely known for appearing in films like ‘Very Bad Things,’ ‘The Replacements,’ ‘Rudy,’ ‘Swingers,’ ‘Deep Impact,’ ‘Daredevil,’ ‘Chef,’ and ‘The Wolf of Wall Street,’ among many others. As a director, Favreau has been involved with the Marvel Comics Franchise which includes films like ‘Iron Man,’ ‘Iron Man 2,’ ‘The Avengers,’ ‘Iron Man 3,’ ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ among many others. Favreau has served as the creator, executive producer, and director for Star Wars Disney+ original series ‘The Mandalorian.’ He has his own production company named Fairview Entertainment. Favreau also presents the television cooking series called ‘The Chef Show.’ In 1993, he bagged his first role in the sleeper hit film ‘Rudy.’ His directorial debut came in 2001 with the crime comedy film ‘Made.’ He also served as the director of the 2016 American adventure film ‘The Jungle Book,’ which became the fifth highest-grossing film of 2016.
