Kartik Tyagi is an Indian professional cricket player. He was born on November 8, 2000, in Uttar Pradesh. He gained recognition after his standout performance in the Indian team’s U-19 campaign in 2020. On October 6, 2017, the right-handed batsman made his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh in the 84th season of the Ranji Trophy held between 2017-2018. Unfortunately, the match ended in a loss but everyone was impressed by Tyagi for his impeccable pace. On February 5, 2018, he made his List A debut in the 2017-2018 Vijay Hazare Trophy for Uttar Pradesh against Delhi. In the match, he bowled nine overs and picked up two wickets by shelling 50 runs. He was selected for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2020 in December 2019. Following this, the Rajasthan Royals cricket team bought him for Rs. 1.3 crores before the IPL 2020. On October 6, 2020, Tyagi made his Twenty20 debut for Rajasthan Royals against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2020. Tyagi was declared Man of the Match in IPL 2021 for the victory of Rajasthan Royals against Punjab Kings.
