Amol Parashar: News

Amol Parashar, a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, is one of the few who took a chance and faced the uncertain tunes of the film industry rather than sit pretty with the stable job he had as a mechanical engineer. Born on September 17, 1986, in New Delhi, Parashar began his acting career in 2009. In the movie ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year’ he played a character named Sai. The next time he appeared on the big screen was in 2014 in ‘Babloo Happy Hai.’ For his performance in the movie, he received praises from critics and audiences alike. After ‘Babloo Happy Hai,’ he appeared in a couple of movies including ‘Mili,’ a Malayalam movie. It was, however, in 2016 that Parashar got his big break. His portrayal of Chitvan in TVF’s web series ‘Tripling’ earned him fans across the spectrum. The character earned him various laurels including News18 India’s iReel Awards and WBA Group’s Most Promising Actor (Web Series), both in 2019.
