Karenjit Kaur Vohra, widely known as Sunny Leone, is an actress and model born on May 13, 1981, in an Indian Sikh family in Canada. Leone’s first mainstream appearance was in 2005 as a red carpet reporter for the MTV Video Music Awards on MTV India. In 2011, she also took part in the reality TV series 'Bigg Boss'. Leone made her Bollywood debut with Pooja Bhatt's 2012 erotic thriller ‘Jism 2’. She turned to mainstream acting with movies such as ‘Jackpot’, 'Ragini MMS 2’, ‘Ek Paheli Leela’, and 'Tera Intezaar’, among others. In addition to her film career, she's been part of the Vivid Comedy Tour and has modeled for the Vivid Footwear collection, too. A former pornographic actress, Leone was named by 'Maxim' among the 12 top porn stars in 2010. She also authored ‘Sweet Dreams’, which is a collection of 12 short stories, launched in 2016. Leone is also known for participating in several activism campaigns, including the Rock 'n' Roll Los Angeles Half-Marathon organized by the American Cancer Society, and has also featured on many of PETA’s ad campaigns.
