Kamaal Rashid Khan, popularly known as KRK or Kamaal R Khan, is an Indian film actor, writer, and producer. In 2009, he was a participant in the Colors TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss.’ He is popularly known for his controversial remarks and reviews on Bollywood films, celebrities, and other sensitive topics. During the 2014 General elections, he wrote a tweet mentioning that he will leave India if Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister of the country. However, after Modi’s win, he posted a fake screenshot of the same tweet where he replaced his name with Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. This sparked controversy as several media outlets started writing about it and credited the tweet to Shah Rukh Khan. In the same year, he also made a disrespectful comment about the film ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ on Twitter. In 2018, he made obscene comments against the LGBT community following which he was processed by the police. Khan also made some caste-based remarks against South actor Dhanush in his review on ‘Raanjhanaa.’ His Hindi film ‘Deshdrohi’ was banned by the Maharashtra government amid riot concerns.
