Sandeep Lamichhane is a professional cricket player from Nepal who plays for the Nepalese national team. He has played 16 ODI matches and 26 T20Is in his cricket career. The right-handed batsman has played for T20 franchise sides across the world which includes the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League, Delhi Capitals in the IPL, and the Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League. He is the first-ever cricketer from Nepal to land an IPL contract. In 2015, Lamichhane made his unofficial senior team debut against a touring MCC squad. He made his debut for Delhi Capitals in 2018 and he was retained by the franchise for the 2019 season. He was also the first Nepalese cricketer to play in the Big Bash League. Lamichhane made his T20I debut for the World XI side against West Indies in 2018. He was the first-ever cricket player to make a T20I debut where he represented a combined team. In 2018, he also played in Nepal’s first ODI match against the Netherlands. Lamichhane is also passionate about singing and frequently uploads music videos and songs on his YouTube channel.
