She made a debut in the entertainment industry with the comedy series 'Home Improvement' in 1991. After leaving 'Home Improvement', she got a role in the famous series 'Baywatch' (1992-97). In 1994, she first appeared in her first film role in 'Raw Justice'. Over the years, Anderson's fan following increased as she appeared in more television series and movies. In 2003, a pop architecture building in Australia was constructed in a way that featured Anderson's face. The following year, she released a novel titled 'Star'. 'Dancing with the Stars' and 'Big Brother' marked her participation in reality TV shows. She is also an activist fighting against societal issues, including pornography and animal violence.
