Former Australian cricketer Mitchell Johnson, who was born on November 2, 1981, played in all forms of the game. In 2015, he announced his retirement from international cricket. A left-arm fast bowler and a left-handed batsman, Johnson, in 2007, made his Test debut for Australia. Johnson, who was widely known as the fastest bowler of his era, was awarded International Cricket Council’s Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy in 2009. Born and brought up in Townsville, Queensland, his first sporting love was Tennis. He also had an opportunity to shift to Brisbane in order to establish his tennis career at the age of 14 but he turned it down and began focusing on cricket. In May 2011, he married former model Jessica Bratich who is also a Karate black belt holder.
