It was founded in 1998 by Pony Ma, Xy Chenye, Zhang Zhidong, Chen Yidan, and Zeng Liqing. Tencent’s services include music (Tencent Music), social networking, e-commerce, web portal, mobile and online gaming, payment system, and smartphones. The company has also collaborated with tech giant ASUS to produce gaming-centric ROG-series smartphones.
