Micromax Informatics (Micromax) is an Indian consumer electronics manufacturer headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana. It was founded in the year 2000 by Rahul Sharma as an IT software company and later entered the mobile market in 2008. The X1i phone was Micomax’s first telephone that reportedly offered a month-long battery life. In 2014, it was the first Indian mobile company to sell its products in Russia. At present, its portfolio includes smartphones (IN series), feature phones, televisions, refrigerators, and washing machines, among other products.
