Saira Banu: News
One of the highest-paid Hindi film actresses in the '60s and '70s and wife of late Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar, Saira Banu, is an actress in the Hindi film industry. One of the most popular actresses of Bollywood, Saira started working in the industry when she was 16 and made her debut in 1961 with the film 'Junglee'. She was cast opposite Shammi Kapoor and earned her first Filmfare nomination for the film. Over the years, she gave some blockbuster hits to the industry, including 'Jhuk Gaya Aasman', 'Aayi Milan Ki Bela', 'Bluff Master', and many more. The 1968 film 'Padosan' made Banu one of the top actresses, following which she collaborated with mainstream actors, including Dharmendra and Dilip Kumar. 'Nehle Pe Dehla', released in 1976, was her last hit movie at the box office. Later, even though Banu appeared in many films, none of them did well. 'Faisla', released in 1988, officially became the last movie of Banu's career. In 2021, she lost her husband, Kumar, due to age-related issues.
