Being an international movement about sexual harassment and assault, #MeToo is a hashtag used on social media against these issues. it got viral in October 2017. It was started again after the case of sexual harassment against Harvey Weinstein came into limelight. It was first used by Tarana Burke in 2006 to promote empowerment through empathy.
