Lenovo is a multinational technology company with its global headquarters based in Beijing, China. The company was founded in 1984 as ‘Legend’ by Liu Chuanzhi. In 2002, Yang Yuanqing, the company’s current Chairman and CEO, dropped the Legend English name and in 2003, it officially announced the new ‘Lenovo’ branding for its global markets. The company is most popular for its laptops, tablets, computers, smart TVs, as well as smartphones, which it manufactures under its subsidiary Motorola. Lenovo is said to have its operations fanned over 60 countries and it sells its products in over 180 countries.
