Nushrratt Bharuccha is an Indian actress known for her work in the Hindi film industry. She gained popularity with her role as a dominant girlfriend in the 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' series. Born and brought up in Mumbai, Bharuccha always wanted to pursue a career in acting. She entered the industry in 2006 when she made a debut with the movie 'Jai Santoshi Maa' and disappeared for three years. In 2009, she was seen in 'Kal Kissne Dekha' and a year later in 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha'. However, these movies did not get her fame in the industry. In 2011, Bharuccha was cast in Luv Ranjan's 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' opposite Kartik Aaryan, which was partially successful. After appearing in 'Akash Vaani' and 'Darr @ The Mall', which were big box office disasters, she appeared in the sequel to 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' titled 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2', which became a huge success at the Box Office. It was her first major success in the industry. Later in 2018, she was seen in 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' and 'Dream Girl' in 2019. Both the movies entered the Rs. 100 crore club.
