Bradley Charles Cooper is a renowned American actor and filmmaker born on January 5, 1975, near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Georgetown University with honors and received his Bachelor of Arts in English in 1997. He got his Masters of Fine Arts degree from the Actors Studio Drama School at The New School, New York City. He started his television career by appearing opposite Sarah Jessica Parker on ‘Sex and the City’ in 1999 and on the 2000 drama series ‘The Beat’. He spent the early years of his career working with LEAP (Learning through the Expanded Arts Program), an NGO that teaches acting to inner-city school children. Widely known for his role in movies such as ‘The Hangover’ franchise, ‘Valentine's Day’, ‘The A-Team’, and ‘Limitless’, among others, Cooper has received numerous Academy Award, BAFTA, and Golden Globe Award nominations for his performances. He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for the 2012 comedy-drama ‘Silver Linings Playbook’. He also received Oscar nominations for Best Supporting Actor for his role in ‘American Hustle’ (2013) and Best Actor nomination for ‘American Sniper’ (2014).
