Sharman Joshi is an Indian actor and TV presenter born on April 28, 1979. He made his acting debut in 1999 with the biographical drama film 'Godmother'. However, his debut as a co-lead actor in a Bollywood film happened only with 'Style' (2001). He has acted, produced, and directed stage plays in several languages, including English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati but is mainly known for his work in Bollywood. He appeared in the 2006 hit Aamir Khan starrer 'Rang De Basanti' and later featured in movies like 'Golmaal', 'Life in a... Metro', 'Dhol', 'Raqeeb', and 'Hello'. Joshi is well known for his role of Raju Rastogi in the 2009 film '3 Idiots'. In 2019, he made his digital debut with Balaji Telefilms' 'Baarish' as the male lead opposite actress Asha Negi. Joshi is credited with hosting the TV game show called 'PokerFace: Dil Sachcha Chehra Jhootha' (2009). He is well remembered for playing four different roles in the popular comedy play 'Ame Layi Gaya, Tame Rahi Gaya'.
