Junaid Khan is a film actor, songwriter, television actor, and singer from Pakistan. He is also the lead vocalist of the Pakistani rock band called Call which has released ‘Dhoom,’ and ‘Jilawatan.’ He is popularly known for his characters in the serials ‘Yaariyan,’ ‘Ishq Tamasha,’ and ‘Yaara.’ Khan was born on November 2, 1981, in Punjab. He started his career in music during his third year at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. Khan was also involved in various artistic activities like theater and drawing which later helped him to pursue his acting career. In 2005, he composed his first rock ballad ‘Sab Bhulla Kay,’ and released the album ‘Jilawatan’ in the same year. In 2010, he released the song ‘Badal do Zamana,’ with Pepsi for the T20 World Cup. In 2011, he made his acting debut in Hum TV’s sitcom ‘Kabhi Na Kabhi.’ In early 2012, he played the lead in ‘Sanam Saeed,’ ‘Mawra Hussain,’ ‘Mata-e-Jaan Hai Tu,’ ‘Sarwat Gillani,’ ‘Saba Qamar,’ and ‘Yahan Pyar Nahi Hai.’ He gained popularity with his character in the 2017 drama ‘Sun Yaara,’ on Ary Digital. Khan departed from Call in 2012 to follow a solo music career.
